We cannot wait to share in all the fun and excitement that 2024 will bring to Pritchétt. There is so much to look forward to, including our famous events, new gown arrivals, a packed salon schedule, and of course, spending time with all of you! As we head into busy season for dress shopping, we are all prepped and ready to help as many brides find their dream dress as possible. We are so excited to be part of so many special moments. It’s a blessing to be able to do what we love while helping so many amazing women along the way. We can’t wait to see you!

Attention Spring and Summer Brides!

Did you know that it can take anywhere from three to eight months to order a wedding dress? Sometimes even longer. That means, if you’re planning your wedding for sometime next spring or summer, it’s time to find your dream dress now! 

Chinese New Year begins on February 10, 2024, and extends all the way through March. Here at Pritchétt, and as is the case for many other dress stores around the world, some of our designer dresses and fabulous fabrics are manufactured in China. Due to the holiday, everything is shut down and production is halted for a whole month! Three to eight months turns into four to nine months.

But don’t stress! If you need your dress by a certain date, we will do everything we can to make sure you get your dream gown in time. Pritchétt is the perfect place to start because we have hundreds of gowns in our collection, that you can try on and take home with you the very same day. 

Real Bride Spotlight: Sam Gregory

Can you have a fashion-forward wedding dress while still being modest? Pritchétt Bride Sam Gregory found the answer to that question on a beautiful day in May when she walked by a mannequin that was wearing her dream dress. (Spoiler alert: the answer is yes!)

The “Oakley” gown by Lis Simon can only be described as jaw-dropping, especially when Sam wears it. With fun sleeves, a unique cowl neckline, and covered in sparkle from top to bottom, it’s giving Greek goddess with an added layer of glam. And Sam’s favorite part is the built-in corset. “I loved how it really emphasized my natural figure. It made me feel like I looked hot.” When you look that good in a dress, it’s hard not to feel like a million bucks.

 

A New Salon Service!

New year, new you! Book an appointment in our salon to get a refresh, whether it’s a new cut, touching up your roots, jumping on the cowboy copper trend, or moving up your extensions. And we just started offering a brand new service—scalp treatments! There really isn’t a better way to pamper yourself than at our full-service, professional salon and makeup counter. Step into 2024 as the best version of you. 

Galentines

We are so beyond excited for our fourth annual Galentine’s event coming up next month. It’s a night full of love and light as we celebrate each other. You don’t want to miss out on the inspirational speaker, amazing food, exclusive giveaways, and a dance party like no other. Tell your friends to tell their friends—this will be the best evening of your lives. It’s the perfect girls night. 

Tickets go on sale on January 15, and the event will be on Monday, February 5th at 7:00 pm. This year’s Galentines will be at Shade Home and Garden, the most stunning event venue right here in Orem, Utah.

Each year we have the privilege of hearing from the most amazing guest speakers, and this year’s inspirational message will be from Jess Toolson! Jess is the founder and CEO of Mixhers, and she is on a mission to help women of all kinds take control of their health and happiness. When we say we are thrilled to hear from her, we mean it. 

It’s our New Year’s resolution to grow our community as much as possible by cultivating the relationships we have and creating new ones. We LOVE meeting new brides and being a part of your most special moments! We want to keep seeing our Pritchétt Brides around, and that’s why we throw these awesome parties. Alterations Timeline

We have hundreds of gowns in our store that you can buy right out of our collection, eliminating the need to order a gown. Remember that 99% of the time, brides will need alterations done to their dresses. Our alterations timeline extends to about 6-8 weeks to complete your dress this time of year. If you know you’re getting married next year, it’s time to start looking for a dress sooner than you think! 

Between bridal and alterations, our available appointments fill up quickly, so book an appointment ASAP. If you’re waiting for the ring to make your appointment, don’t stress. You don’t have to be engaged yet to say yes to your dream dress. We look forward to seeing you in our store!

 

New Arrivals Spotlight 

This month’s spotlight is the Libra by Colby John. This mermaid-fit gown will leave everyone speechless as you walk down the aisle, with so many voluminous layers of tulle on the bottom and a stunning bodice, complete with a chic bow. And it comes with THREE different sleeve or glove options, to give you a variety of looks to choose from (we chose our very favorite to photograph, I mean come on look at those gloves). The beautiful Libra is priced between $2500-$3000 here at Pritchétt!

 

Known for intricate beading and exquisite fabrics, Colby John is one of our most chic and fashionable designers. Colby is a self-taught designer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with an incredible eye for detail and an innovative spirit when it comes to wedding gowns. Any of their gowns, including Miss Libra, are fully customizable.
